Meet Santa Claus at the Inglenook in Taman Perling, Johor Baru, on Dec 18 and on the eve of Christmas and have your pictures taken in front of an English-styled cottage. Between noon and 2pm, Santa Claus will be at the Inglenook to give out presents, candies and also to pose with guests for a photography session.

Emma Jackson, the proprietor of Inglenook, is organising a Meet & Greet Santa Claus session. Those interested to meet Santa Claus should fix an appointment to avoid overcrowding.

Each guest will be able to spend five minutes on Santa’s lap and whisper into Santa’s ears.

Jackson promised that Inglenook’s Santa Claus will be blue-eyed, with an old-fashioned white long beard, besides being big, warm and friendly. she is charging RM10 per person, and the fee will include a gift, some candies and an A-4 size picture of the individual with Santa Claus.

while you wait for your pictures to be processed, you can collect free balloons from the organisers. you could take pictures with Santa Claus individually or in a group. Children who write to Santa Claus before Dec 20 about their wish list, or just a letter, will receive a hand-made letter signed by Santa which will be delivered to their postal address.

Jackson is an English lady who has lived in the country for 11 years. she came to Johor Baru, after her marriage to a Malaysian seven years ago. she started collecting items from England about three years ago, after finding it difficult to get these items in Johor Baru. Initially, the items were meant for her personal use, but as her collection grew she started a store and designed it like a traditional English cottage with a fireplace — or an inglenook. It’s a welcoming place where one can find antiques, silverware, fancy clothes and costumes, vintage collectibles, ladies’ clothing including those in extra-large sizes, jewellery, horse-shoes, paintings and other unique and personalised gifts. Jackson, who has a diploma in textile and surface pattern design, also welcomes people to use Inglenook as a place to showcase their creativity. During the Meet & Greet Santa Session, guests would be greeted with the aroma of cinnamon. Jackson said cinnamon often reminded her of Christmas back home, and that was the reason she made the scent a signature of Inglenook. Among the interesting items at Inglenook are its handmade bunnies. Each bunny has its own scent, character and a bag of “fairy dust” that Jackson said had some “magic”. a plain wooden frame costs RM5, but decorated ones cost RM25. Almost everything in the shop was sourced from garage sales in England. Jackson also sells furniture. Inglenook is located at 282A, Jalan Simbang, Taman Perling. It’s open daily from 10am to 7pm, except on Sundays. for details, call 012-774 9747 or find Inglenook Johor Baru on Facebook.

Choosing Beer Mugs For Customers

April 23rd, 2010

You want to give your customers something they will appreciate as a promotional gift. You want to give them something that does not look cheap, but is not going to cost your company too much. You want your company to show your customers that they matter and that you want their business. In addition, you need to bring more customers in so that you can keep making money. It is very important that you balance it right so that you can not only show customers you appreciate them with a good promotional item, but which is not going to cost you too much.

Beer mugs are perfect gifts for your customers because they are not too expensive, but they are a unique gift for your customers that they will appreciate. Everyone likes to enjoy a beer but not everyone wants to drink it out of a bottle. That is where something like mugs comes into play. Beer mugs are gifts that will cost you very little, but they have plenty of upside thanks to the ample space to put your company name and logo on. Often, companies will have to put their company name and logo on something small, like a pen or shot glass, but this does not warrant itself to be easily seen, or it may just be passed over. Beer mugs have plenty of space to put your company name and logo on it without making it seem like that is all the glass is.

When it is a hot summer evening, your customer will want to sit back and enjoy a beer. They can drink from a bottle, or they can grab a nice mug from the freezer, pour the beer into the mug and enjoy. Now, if they are drinking the beer from a mug in front of friends, then they are not only advertising your company to themselves, but to their friends as well.

Beer mugs are wonderful promotional gifts that you can give to your customers for a number of reasons. These reasons include:

1. The customer has bought a certain amount from you in a day.2. You want to reward your loyal customers with personalized beer mugs.3. You are having a sale that has discounts on items, as well as providing promotional gifts like beer mugs.4. You want to entice new customers to come into your business.
