Tesla Set to Launch U.S. Headlining Tour Starting June 7 in Santa Rosa, CA, in Support of ‘Real To Reel’ Due Out June 5; Free Show Scheduled For May 31 in Sacramento
As previously announced, TESLA will launch a summer U.S. headlining tour starting June 7 in Santa Rosa, CA, at the Wells Fargo Center for the Arts in support of their REAL TO REEL album, which is due out June 5 on the band’s Tesla Electric Company Recordings (Ryko Distribution). This marks the 20th consecutive year that TESLA has toured the States.
Before the tour officially kicks off, TESLA will make a special hometown appearance at Cesar Chavez Park in Sacramento, CA, on May 31 at 7:00 p.m. PT in front an expected crowd of 8,000. Not only will the show, sponsored by KXRQ-FM (98 Rock) and the Hard Rock Café, be free, but everyone in attendance will get a special pre-release sneak peek at REAL TO REEL. The one-hour performance will exclusively spotlight songs from “Reel 1″ of the two-disc set, which will be sold that day at the new R5 store founded by Russ Solomon, the man behind the now defunct Tower Records chain. Immediately following the concert, the Hard Rock Café will sponsor a listening party with the band who’ll be autographing copies of the album which will be available for sale at the event by R5.

Mac users get SaaSy with Xero
Leading Software-as-a-Service accounting provider Xero announced recently that 20% of their customer base are Apple Mac users.
This is significant as Apple has just under a 10% overall PC market share internationally according to various analysts (Net Applications, Gartner, IDC).
This research indicates Mac users are an ideal target for online applications, as demonstrated by Xero’s strong Mac user base; and the trend looks set to continue.
Information technology and advisory firm Gartner has predicted t 00004000 hat by 2011, Apple will have doubled their market share in the U.S and Western Europe. They also predict the SaaS business model will account for a third of all business applications by 2012.

Nickel Ltd Files Second Lawsuit Against Pure Bioscience for $22 Million
Nickel LTD today announced that in accord with a March 25, 2005 court judgment in its favor authorizing suit on an accelerated basis, it has filed a second lawsuit against Pure Bioscience (Formerly Innovative Medical Services “IMS”) seeking $22 million in direct quantifiable contractual damages, and for a like amount in other relief.
The first suit against Pure was recently served and is on-going. That suit seeks direct contractual damages exceeding $15 million as quantified under the explicit terms of that contract, and an equal amount in unspecified damages.
