Fiat And Opel Sign Agreements for Supply ofVehicles
Supply of Derivatives ofFiat’s Doblo model.(
Successorto the Opel / Vauxhall / Holden Combo model

Production in excess of 250,000 units to start in2011
Turin/Ruesselsheim: The Automobile Sectorof the Fiat Group (Fiat Group Automobiles SpA, Turin, Italy)and Adam Opel GmbH (Russelsheim, Germany) have concludednegotiations and signed a contract whereby Fiat will supplyvehicles comprising of several variants to Opel commencingDecember 2011.
The vehicles, based on the same platformas the Fiat Doblo models will be produced at the Tofas plantin Bursa, Turkey, where the Doblo’ is manufactured andwill be sold by Vauxhall and Opel Dealers in Europe andother markets outside of NAFTA progressively from Jan 2012.The model will replace the Opel Combo Light CommercialVehicle, which is sold in New Zealand as the Holden Combo.
Opel and Vauxhall will retain the Combo name for this newvehicle range which will include a number of derivativesincluding Cargo Vans, Combis, Passenger Vehicles and ChassisCabs. The Opel / Vauxhall design team in Russelsheim Germanyis actively involved in the development of the new modelswith Fiat Group Automobiles’ Engineering and Design Groupin Turin, Italy.
The project calls for an initial supplyof up to 6,000 vehicles in 2011. The program is planned tocover the supply of at least 250,000 units. This will extendthe total life-time production of this vehicle platform inTofas to 1.3 million units.
Tofas is a joint venturebetween Fiat Group Automobiles and Koc Holding of Turkey andwas established in 1968.
