Hey yo. Welcome back to Elimin8 with me, Chris Lansdell. For those of you who are new to the column, we count down the 8 worst things for a given topic. It’ll be a light-hearted, over-cynical look at some real stinkers and howlers in the world of gaming, or just an exploration of the less-publicized side of some major new releases.

This week we finally tackle the third big thing that came out of E3 Kinect. Microsoft is once again trying to revolutionize the gaming industry (which has been done so many times that Venezuela thinks it’s unstable) by giving us a control system with no actual controllers. Will it succeed in changing the way we think about games, or will it join the Virtual Boy and the Lynx on the Island of Forgotten Tech? That remains to be seen, but while we wait let’s take a look at all the reasons to avoid it shall we?
