The Duke of Edinburgh has had minor surgery on his hand to treat Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
The Duke of Edinburgh has had an operation on his left hand just days before his 89th birthday.
He was taken into hospital on Monday and underwent day surgery totreat carpal tunnel syndrome – a condition that causes pain, numbnessand a burning sensation in the hand and fingers.
Philip, who is right-handed, cancelled an engagement atBuckingham Palace in the evening but was back at his desk yesterdayconducting audiences with aides, charity workers and members of themilitary.
He looks great, GreyOwl, but double shields with 6 defense might be too much. To compare:
