Which of these two iron horse mountain bikes should I get?

    December 8th, 2010

Question by Brandon: which of these two iron horse mountain bikes should I get? They are both very similar but i am having a hard time picking which one. rscycle.com/2008-Iron-Horse-6-Point-4-All-Mountain?sc=19&category=55 or rscycle.com/2007-Iron-Horse-6-Point-4-All-Mountain-Freeride-CLOSEOUT?sc=11&category=108

    Best answer:

Answer by edward wTake it from an IH connoisseur, get the 07 model it is just slightly better speced’ and these two bikes are generally the same in every aspect and would do you well either way. The deals are better when the bike is an older year model and most companies have lowered the specs overall on their models since 07. I own both an 07 MKIII and Azure WC 06′ and have owned several other lower end IH too, 1.3, 4.5, and warrior expert. all good bikes and I still have the first two. The two you have picked were made exclusively for rscycle and are good quality bikes too, just not supported on IH website for this reason.

    Rusty Johnston's dirt bike win

    September 17th, 2010

LIGHTNING and hail failed to dislodge Kellyville’s Rusty Johnston from winning the Dirt Bike Spectacular at Parramatta City Raceway on August 15.

Rusty loves racing and despite a brief storm on competition day, he demonstrated his prowess on his KTM 50cc bike to win the seven to under-nine years auto division category.

“I rode fast and I came first,” Rusty said.

“It’s my second year riding bikes, I have three bikes and my best bike is my 50cc,” The year 3 Our Lady of the Rosarie School student said.

Rusty was taking part in the inaugural Motorcycle Accessory Warehouse Sydney Dirt Bike Spectacular.

A brief period of lightning and hail failed to deter the enthusiastic riders who helped make the day a success.

Rusty said he trains with his coach Craig Anderson and his friend Josh Burns.

“I train on Thursdays and I am a member of the Baulkham Hills Mini Bike Club – that’s where I learnt to ride,” he said.

“Sometimes my dog Brandy runs along with me when I ride,” he said.

Rusty has set his sights on a goal: “I want to do Supercross riding”.

He already has a sponsor for his bike in MxRad of Preston.

Rusty’s little sister Charlot, 5, has taken up riding bikes as well.
