Clear Lake Fishing Report by Steve PerkinsNovember 2010

Clear Lake Nov. 6th   Water Temp, 58-65
Water Clarity, 1-2 ft.   I fished up north the first part of the week and down south the end of the week catching good quality fish in both areas, I averaged 12 or more fish a day and most were 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 pounds with a couple larger ones.   There are still lots of good weed beds up north but hardly any in the the areas I fished in the south end. I had to cover a fair amount of water to find the feeding fish but once located they were easy to catch.   I Caught fish on Swim Baits, Jigs, Spoons, Tubes, and Worms. I had to change up the baits to keep the schools biting.   A couple weeks ago I did well on top water and rip baits but this week it didn’t work for me. Not much has changed since the Triton Owners Tournament where we had a top 10 finish, but for me the bite is better in the south than it was a few weeks back. In the north end I fish the thick weeds and weed pockets with the Hippo Tackle swim bait rigged weedless, on the edges of the weed beds I fish the osprey, both on 15lb McCoy Floro100.
In the south end the biggest fish ate the spoon and the best bait for numbers was the Jig. My favorite jig this time of year is the Persuader 1/2oz football in purple/brown. For such a big lake it is fishing very small, for me it is all about finding a few good spots and throughly fishing them a few times throughout the day.
Tips. Cover water until you find feeding fish or see them on the graph, spend some time with them, if they dont bite check back throughout the day.
This time of year knowing how to read your graph will really pay off, A few times this week I would see them and then drop down the bait and catch them. Have Fun!

May 22nd, 2010

(M2 PressWIRE Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) BUYINS.NET / squeezetrigger.com is monitoring the performance of all stocks with earnings being released Tuesday, May 18th and determining how the stocks have performed after their last 12 quarterly, 6 quarterly and May earnings reports. Dicks Sporting Goods (NYSE: DKS), Tsakos Energy (NYSE: TNP), Photronics (NASDAQ: PLAB), Pacific Ethanol (NASDAQ: PEIX), China GrenTech (NASDAQ: GRRF) and EDAP TMS (NASDAQ: EDAP) are all expected to be lower after their earnings are released Tuesday. The movement of stock prices in the days and weeks leading to and following these earnings announcements may follow a predictable pattern. Most companies stock price histories show random or unpredictable movements around earnings dates. But some seem to repeat the same pattern quarter after quarter, year after year. The # of Reports in the table below shows how many previous quarterly reports comprise the indicator that predicts how a stock will act after its earnings are released. The specific technology used to make these predictions is available for a low monthly fee at squeezetrigger.com/services/strat/mh.php . The following stocks are expected to go lower after earnings are released Tuesday:Symbol Company # of Reports Quarter Release TimeDKS Dick’s Sporting Goods May earnings Q1 BeforeTNP Tsakos Energy Navigat 12 quarters Q1 BeforePLAB Photronics, Inc. 12 quarters Q2 AfterPEIX Pacific Ethanol, Inc. 12 quarters Q1 AfterGRRF China GrenTech Corp. 12 quarters Q1 AfterEDAP EDAP TMS SA (ADR) May earnings Q1 BeforeEarnings, or profits, drive stock prices. The market values a company based on its current and anticipated future ability to make money. The market takes the earnings pulse of a company four times per year when quarterly reports are issued. When this information is released it can often be a trend-changing or a trend confirming event because the information is so vital to the market’s perception of the vitality of that company.

This technology is designed to help the stock trader identify those companies that seem to have a consistent pattern of movement before or after the earnings release date, based on the history of earnings releases for that company. It combines a calendar of expected earnings releases with a history of past earnings releases in a way that lets you see if a pattern exists.

About SQUEEZETRIGGER.COMWWW.SQUEEZETRIGGER.COM is a service designed to help bonafide shareholders of publicly traded US companies fight short selling. SqueezeTrigger.com has built a proprietary database that uses Threshold list feeds and short sale time and sale data from NASDAQ, AMEX and NYSE to generate detailed and useful information to combat the short selling problem. For the first time, actual trade by trade data is available to the public that shows the attempted size, actual size, price and average value of short sales in stocks that have been shorted. This information is valuable in determining the precise point at which short sellers go out-of-the-money and start losing on their short trades.

SQUEEZETRIGGER.COM has built a massive database that collects, analyzes and publishes a proprietary SqueezeTrigger for each stock that has been shorted. The SqueezeTrigger database of nearly 2.5 billion short sale transactions goes back to January 1, 2005 and calculates the exact price at which the Total Short Interest is short in each stock. This data was never before available prior to January 1, 2005 because the Self Regulatory Organizations (primary exchanges) guarded it aggressively. After the SEC passed Regulation SHO, exchanges were forced to allow data processors like SqueezeTrigger.com to access the data.

The SqueezeTrigger database collects individual short trade data on over 7,000 NYSE, AMEX and NASDAQ stocks and general short trade data on nearly 8,000 OTCBB and PINKSHEET stocks. Each month the database grows by approximately 50,000,000 short sale transactions and provides investors with the knowledge necessary to time when to buy and sell stocks with outstanding short positions. By tracking the size and price of each montha’a”s short transactions, SQUEEZETRIGGER.COM provides institutions, traders, analysts, journalists and individual investors the exact price point where short sellers start losing money and a short squeeze can begin.
