In the middle of B.o.B.’s coming debut album, “B.o.B. Presents: The Adventures of Bobby Ray” (Rebel Rock/Grand Hustle/Atlantic), is a song called “The Kids,” in which the Atlanta rapper-singer bemoans the street life: “Looking back on the past that I had/All my days in the streets trying to prove that I was bad/I still elevated to the level that I’m at.” That he does it to the tune of “The Kids Don’t Stand a Chance,” by Vampire Weekend ? well, that’s just adding insult to injury.
