Jason Cundy has lavished praise on Carlo Ancelotti after the Italian led Chelsea to the Premier League title in his first season in England.
The Blues secured the trophy for the first time since 2006 with an 8-0 rout of Wigan on Sunday to finish one point clear of Manchester United and end the Red Devils’ three-year grip on the top-flight crown.
Ancelotti’s men will also become only the seventh side to win the double if they beat Portsmouth in next weekend’s FA Cup final and former Blues defender Cundy has commended the Chelsea manager for bringing the good times back to Stamford Bridge.
“We won the league, that’s a pretty good start to Carlo Ancelotti’s tenure at Chelsea,” Cundy told Sky Sports News
