For many wine enthusiasts, storing wine at room temperature is unacceptable. This is what makes a wine storage refrigerator such a valuable appliance. Wine storage refrigerators allow you to store your wine, no matter what type, at the ideal temperature for it. 1) Type. There are mini wine chillers, countertop versions, undercounter styles and even full size wine coolers. 3) Design. There are basic models available and then there are custom design coolers available as well. Obviously, the custom designed wine refrigerators will cost you significantly more but they can be very beautiful. Some are finished with custom woodwork, others with marble or some other solid surface.

4) Air tight. Cheaper wine storage refrigerators will not be as air tight as the more expensive ones. They won’t keep as even a temperature. If consistent temperature is important to you, make sure to also look for a model with a treated glass door.
