If car plates / plastic utensils or buy for our wedding reception?
We are seeing the costs and be realistic. Reception the wedding will be in our house and will be very informal, so you do not need all the tables set up every luxury and very good fit for the table and all that fuss. Always we were thinking of buying a “disposable china” and use that. However, now that I’ve looked at a cost, does not seem that much cheaper to buy the disposable (plastic) China compared to rent. At least, that is the case of the plates. The cutlery is definitely much cheaper to buy plastic. … Besides being aware of environment that we really should just rent because it is a lot of plastic sitting in a landfill. Opinions? What did you do for your wedding / big event? If you have disposable things, where did you get? We were thinking of Costco …
I also had a small reception at my parents house and my Mom found some very nice wedding theme plates and napkins cheaper online than in a store. I have no idea where my mother I have mine, but I do know that Oriental Trading has some of them for good prices. Green’s was a concern, but we decided that the implementation of the dishwasher several times would be too dangerous. Also, do not underestimate the degree of fatigue (And anyone helping out) after the big day. Sometimes it’s good to throw away things ….
