UNTIL SKYPE FIGURES OUT BILLING..HEAVY USERS, LET ALONE A SMALL BUSINESS ARE FRIED!

I love(d?) Skype, and gritted my teeth tolerating the purchasing limits, and using only the “payment methods & amounts” that were “allowed” at a given moment, knowing that in 90 days I could use the service to my hearts content.

I spend 4-8 hours a day on the phone, so I thought I had found heaven.

Now, retroactivly, Skype has cancelled not only my most recent purchase…but also seems to have suspended my SKYPE-IN phone number.

No warning, no communication, no human intervention…just “ping, GAME OVER.”

While I am extremely hopeful this can be resolved with only the limited inconvenience of a couple of days interuption, (and I won’t have to throw away the stationary I had printed and red-faced try to recontact all friends, family and business associates I had proudly given my new number to), I reiterate Skype MUST find a way to accomodate those persons (or businesses) who aren’t trying to “chat for free” but are ready willing and able to PAY for phone calls.

After all Google was buying a business, not an NGO, right?
