PRE-DIABETES WORKSHOP
Come learn more about pre-diabetes and what the diagnosis means for you and your loved ones. A pre-diabetes workshop is set for 6 p.m. tonight in the second floor of the Shelton Building at Hendrick Medical Center, 1900 Pine St.
No referral is needed to attend, and there is no need to preregister for this free workshop.

Don’t forget that the National Center for Children’s Illustrated Literature, 102 Cedar St., offers free art activities and hands on fun from 1 to 4 p.m. every Saturday afternoon and during each Artwalk.
Books from illustrators who have been featured at the NCCIL are also available for purchase.
The current exhibit “The Berenstain Bears Out West” will close April 2.
Mark your calendars now for April 22, when the Abilene Education Foundation will honor Dr. David Polnick for his 32 years of service to the children of AISD. An appreciation dinner will be held at 7 p.m. at the Abilene Civic Center, 1100 N. 6th St.
