I often wonder this myself. I grew up as a Christian, but over the years, I have come to realize that religion is something humans made up. How can we say that somebody is wrong about their religion when they may not have had the opportunity to know God? My opinion is that there are many religions in the world, and many of them involve the belief in a god. Who are we to say that the god that one person worships to them is not the same god that we worship, just under a different name? God is so much more than we could possibly understand, and we are obviously not meant to understand him. But I think that different cultures in this world have come up with their own ways to try to better understand and know him. Hopefully this is at least making a little sense. Anyways, you are not alone. It is difficult to know what is right in this world, but don't give up on God because the majority of people are not Christian.
