Mosquito Repellents?
I’m off to deepest Honduras for 6 weeks and would like to known what the consensus is on mosquito repellents.
Mosquitos love to feed on me, and I also react very badly to the bites. (I will be taking Antimalarials and Anithistamines). Hence I want to minimise any possible risk, particularly as I seem to bitten mainly overnight.
During the day time, I will be wearing DEET based repellent on my skin and permethrin on my clothes. I’m also going to purchase some Arnywear, so I should have that on my bedding.
However, I would like a plug in, just as extra protection
Which is best…
- Plug in liquid repellent
- Plug in Sonic repellent
- Battery powered sonic repellent
or even Solar powered sonic repellent?
Should I get a mosquito net?
In case you were wondering, there will be plugs widely available.
Sounds a bit OTT, I know. But what are your opinions?
if this rain hold up u think they risk playing manning? Why risk injury?
RT Mosquito repellents don't repel. They hide you. The spray blocks the mosquito's sensors so they don't know you're there.
