Caloric has won the contract for a second hydrogen generation plant for a client from the chemical industry in France.

After successful operation of the first plant delivered by Caloric, started-up in 2009, the customer has again chosen Caloric’s highly efficient HC steam reforming technology for its increasing demand.

The plant will produce up to 2800 Nm3/h of hydrogen with a purity of 99.9998 %. To be fully pre-assembled in Caloric’s fabrication shop, the plant will then be re-erected on-site as turnkey job.

The start-up of the plant is scheduled for end of 2011, with the new contract seen as further strengthening Caloric’s position as a high-qualified supplier of hydrogen plants worldwide.
