What guitar makes the best metal sound? | Metal Home decor

It’s time for a new guitar. I got my tax returns and want something new and different from my 80? Stratocaster… Don’t get me wrong, my strat is a work of art and is perfect for that classic and smooth sound, but I want a guitar with a really metal feel. So far the opinions I’ve collected all seem to differ. I want a solid stage guitar with some aesthetic appeal to it that plays well with ultra light strings. Anyone play lead guitar focusing on metal out there? Any Suggestions?
Though some shopping around and more test play(a lot of it, I think I pissed my Guitar Center off) I’m really feeling the “B.C. Rich Kerry King Wartribe” I tried a few Dean’s and a ESP’s and mostly found that the Deans are fairly taxing to play, which is dissapointing because they sound great. As for the ESPs, they just didn’t sound right and I can’t really place my finger on why… I wanna say the make a noise much like an Ibeniez, just cleaner… I wasn’t really impressed.
My local shop doesn’t have the best selection but I thought I’d get a feel around and kept comming back to the B.C. Rich anyone famillier them? Points for your thoughts?
BTW I got about 00 from my federal So I figured I could do around a thousand for the guitar and the rest to make nessacary modifications and a case.
And a note on Kaylers… You dont need to block them… there’s a screw on the end of them that will set them in place (which is what I’d do cuz I don’t really use whammy bars)

The heavier the string, the louder and deeper the sound, but the more difficult to finger. Heavier strings will also put greater tension on the neck. Best way is to experiment and see which u prefer. Hope this helps.
